Does Visual Rhetoric Exist?

As I pondered this question for my final and contemplated various ways of incorporating the iconic image of the raising of the flag at Iwo Jima and the New York reproduction of this image, I started searching for the images online. What did I find, but the crux of my argument that the iconic message of the Iwo Jima image transcends the kairos, decorum, and audience of any reproduction. Really, it does? What do these three images have in common except for the iconic message first stated through the Iwo Jima image?
